Alaska Here I Come…Again!

So I have cruised to Alaska a couple times.

The first time was out of Seattle for a 7 day cruise, with 42 members of my family. I will say that cruising with a group is a whole lot of fun! There is always someone to hang with, especially around the pool, as a few of us were traveling with younger kids.

The second time was a 10 day cruise out of San Francisco. Without getting into any details, I will tell you that I will never cruise out of San Francisco again….EVER!

I am headed back to Alaska for a third time to enjoy an 8 day cruise with my best friend Debbie in June. I am super excited as I haven’t been there since 2010, and this cruise includes a stop in Sitka, one place I haven’t visited yet.

Why am I excited about going to Alaska for a third time? Because the scenery is spectacular, the whale watching unmatched, and it’s an amazing way to experience all kinds of wildlife like bears, Bald Eagles, Orcas, Humpbacks, and salmon, and so much more!

We have a couple excursions booked and we are looking forward to enjoying some time exploring and enjoying the scenery and wildlife of Alaska.

The first excursion is out of Juneau and is a Whale Watching / Salmon Bake Experience. I am excited for the whale watching, and you never know what you will see. The salmon bake dinner is grilled fresh salmon with all the fixings. You will never, ever taste anything more delicious.

The second excursion is a train ride out of Skagway to view the incredible scenery inland from the coast. To learn more about the White Pass & Yukon Route Railway click here.

I will be sharing some amazing photos, so stay tuned.
