Estes Park is a wonderful, and busy, entrance to RMNP. Once you park at the Visitor Center, talk the walk along the river to enjoy some adorable shops and eateries. I spent the night at the KOA, and it was a nice facility, although kind of noisy due to the motorcycle group that was camping next door.
