Hello and Welcome!

Thanks for stopping by to say hello!

I started my journey to become a solo traveler because I wanted to experience true freedom.

It was funny because everyone I spoke to about my trip couldn’t believe that I was going to take this trip alone.

I had absolutely no fear or trepidation to take this trip….I couldn’t wait!

We only have one life and there is a big wide world waiting for us to explore, discover, and experience different cultures, strange foods, and new friends to meet.

With my mom’s passing in June, I was able to take some time and just go.

When I was wavering and trying to figure out how to make it all work, my brilliant daughter told me to go. She didn’t want me to have any regrets in 10 years if I didn’t go.

I am so happy that she was able to stay home, take care of the house and the dogs, and allow me to take this time to run away and be by myself to grieve, and grow at the same time.

I know how blessed I am! That I was given this time is something that not many people get the opportunity to do.

So enjoy my journeys!

I am thinking a trip to Greece is next. A month exploring the islands to learn the history, the food, the culture and the beauty of the country sounds idyllic.

Tell yourself it’s time to make your own travel memories and start planning!
