Here are a few things you will want to do while visiting Vancouver.
- Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. Take a walk over the Capilano River on the suspension bridge, and wander the park to enjoy nature at its finest.
- Whale Watching is a popular thing to do from March through October as this is when the whales are migrating through the waters of Vancouver.
- Hiking Around the Vancouver Seawall. Start your hike at Kitsilano Beach and head east. The entire hike is 13.5 miles and offers the opportunity to see some of Vancouver’s parks and neighborhoods. If you don’t want to hike the whole route, you can take a ferry or bus from the False Creek area of the seawall.
- Stanley Park located in the northwest section of the city. The park, which is 1000 acres is recognized as one of the best urban parks in the world. There are paved and dirt trails as well as beaches located at the park. It is a great spot to spend the day, or even a couple hours to appreciate this little slice of heaven in the city.
- Vancouver Aquarium found in Stanley Park, is Canada’s largest aquarium and one of the most visited places in the park. Enjoy the afternoon strolling through the 120 world-class exhibits, and viewing the 65,000 animals.
Vancouver is a city definitely worth visiting. With so much to see and do it will be a trip to remember.
